The restaurant is uniquely situated along a river, inside a public park, giving it a camp-like atmosphere. The staff are warm and friendly, and the owner’s shy rescue dog adorably followed her around all night. The food was well prepared and is more meat and vegetable oriented- no seafood. We really enjoyed our evening.
We are an American family of 7. We asked our Cretan host where local people eat, and without hesitation, she named Drakiana. The setting was surreal, the food was delicious, and the family owners are absolutely precious! It was the perfect ending to our beautiful week in Crete.
